Our terms
Who you are contracting with
Vision Roofing Services is Tommy Smith, a sole trader. Full contact details are on the Who you are dealing with page.
These terms are short and in plain English. If anything here is unclear, ring and ask before you agree work.
Estimates
Estimates and advice are free. An estimate sets out the work and the price for that work. It stands for 30 days.
If the roof turns out to be different once the tiles come off, we will tell you before doing anything extra, and you decide.
When the contract starts
There is a contract when you accept the estimate and we confirm it. Not before.
Your right to change your mind
If you agree work at your home, or over the phone or by email, you have 14 days to cancel.
This is important and it has a page of its own. Read Your right to cancel.
Paying
Payment is due once the job is finished.
If a job is ever to be paid for in stages, that is agreed with you before work starts. It is never assumed.
What we promise
Work will be done with reasonable care and skill, within a reasonable time, at the price agreed.
That is your right under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, and nothing on this website reduces it.
All work is guaranteed. Repairs are guaranteed for up to five years, and that covers the whole job rather than just parts of it.
For a new roof or a reroof, ask us what the guarantee is before you agree the work, and we will set it out for you.
If something goes wrong
Ring or email as soon as you notice. Tell us what has happened and we will come and look.
If work was not done with reasonable care and skill, you can ask for it to be put right.
If it cannot be put right in a reasonable time, or without real trouble for you, you can ask for money back.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Nothing in them takes away a right the law does not allow us to take away.
Access and the site
We need safe access to the roof, and to whatever sits below it.
Tell us before the day if access is awkward. Say so if there is a shared drive, if parking is restricted, or if a neighbour's land is involved.
Which law applies
The law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales.
When these terms changed
Last changed 5 August 2026.
