About Vision Roofing Services
Vision Roofing Services is a sole trader business, working out of Surrey. We have been on roofs since the age of fifteen. That is about fourteen years. Every photograph on this website is one of our own jobs.
About fourteen years on roofs
Roofing started at fifteen. Twenty nine now. That is about fourteen years on roofs.
That is time spent in the trade, and nothing more than that. This site makes no claim about how long the name has been over the door.
Tiles and slate. Flat roofs. Ridges, verges, valleys and hips. Fascias, soffits and guttering. Roofs stripped back to the rafters and built up again on new battens.
What we actually do
New roofs and reroofs. Roof repairs, slipped tiles and leaks. Flat roofs. GRP, which is fibreglass laid as one sheet with no joins.
Dry ridge and dry verge. Fascias, soffits, cladding, guttering, downpipes and apex boards. Gutter cleaning, and painting the outside of a house.
That list is what is printed on our own leaflet. Nothing has been added to it. Each job has its own page, with what the work involves.
Dry verge and dry ridge
Our leaflet calls us specialists in dry verge and dry ridge systems. The photographs back it up.
The verge is the sloping edge of a roof at the gable end. The ridge is the line along the very top. Both are usually bedded in mortar.
Mortar up there cracks, because the roof moves and the mortar does not. A dry system clips and screws the tiles down instead. There is no mortar to crack, so there is nothing to repoint.
Dry verge and dry ridge have a page each, with what fitting one involves.
Where we work
Works out of Surrey and covers Crawley, Brighton, Horsham, Reigate, Redhill and Dorking. Anywhere else, ring and ask first.
The work has come from leaflets posted through doors, not from a website. This is the first one.
What is not on this website
You will not find badges, logos or borrowed claims on here. What you get is the work, photographed on the roof, and two phone numbers.
If a thing is not on this site, it is because there is nothing to back it up. That felt like the honest way to build it.
Getting hold of us
Two numbers are printed on our leaflet. Either one reaches us.
07477 536 273 or 07388 871 251. By email, [email protected].
Estimates and advice are free. Say what the roof is doing and where the house is. There is a short form on the contact page if that is easier.
